All things new.

Lots of changes, really good changes.  I'm kind of slow posting and I'll have to add more later I'm sure, but for now here are some of the highlights of the past 5 days.  We have been blessed with a healthy precious baby girl.  She has been a wonderful baby so far - the usual eating, pooping, sleeping, repeat.  Big sister has loved loved loved helping.  Big brother is kind getting used to her - she is hilarious to him,  when she cries he points and laughs and says "baby."  One of these days he'll get the idea that she is really here to stay.  He did finally sit yesterday and want to read a book with her and did hold her for about .5 seconds. 

I  feel pretty relaxed with all of this for now, but I have officer home to help all week.  The reality of 3 on my own for bedtime is a little daunting, but I'm not thinking about that now - I'm just soaking in every second I get to snuggle this little girl; it goes by all too fast.  I do find that in these early stages it is hard to get anything done other than the basics and it is hard to balance time with my older kids.  I know that really it probably matters very little to them, but sometimes I really need three of myself.  Thanks to you all for the well wishes and congrats, and the meals that are coming!  Enjoy meeting our little "Cupcake"
